Paramedical Exams Portamedic provides paramed exams and medical services to applicants in their homes or offices nationwide using a national branch network and thousands of highly trained employee and contract examiners.

Laboratory Testing Heritage Labs does biostatistical analysis of lab tests to improve mortality.

Under the leadership of Medical Director Dr. David Winsemius, we use sophisticated data modeling, validated by reinsurers, to gain a better understanding of the true mortality consequences of laboratory tests. This allows our customers to develop new insurance products and establish accurate premium rating and pricing.

Wellness Screenings To schedule screenings, manufacture kits, print materials, ship equipment and screen groups of all sizes nationwide, Hooper Holmes Health & Wellness has a fantastic infrastructure in place. To complete the chain, we analyze and transmit data essential for identifying and segmenting populations.

Inspection Reports (APS, PIL, MVR, Prescription History) Inspection reports collected by Hooper Holmes Services provide pertinent personal, business and retirement information in the development of risk analysis.We have aligned ourselves with a partnership with Intelliscript (prescription profiles) to provide maximum information as well as constantly updated databases of pharmaceutical, prescription information and more than 760,000 physician names and addresses.

In addition, Hooper Holmes has created a library of reflexive Inspection and impaired risk questionnaires. Multiple levels of Inspections can be selected, combined or customized to provide the most information desired.

Underwriting We underwrite hundreds of thousands of cases annually and complete more than two million telephone interviews. Our on-demand, customized underwriting services are tailored specifically to each carrier. We tackle inefficiencies in processes, including variable staffing due to attrition, seasonal support; lack of specific skill sets, and volume backlogs.

Tele-interviews reduce cycle time and errors in health data collection. Our trained team of U.S.-based tele-professionals interacts directly with applicants to complete either Part I or Part II of an application, recording and including a voice signature for legal purposes.
