  • Ransom J. Parker was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Hooper Holmes on September 15, 2010. Ransom has been a senior executive, director and private equity investor in health care and technology companies for more than 30 years. As principal of Cerulean Advisors he has provided strategic, financial and operations guidance to healthcare IT, medical device and life science companies. From 1998 to 2008 he served as general partner of Redshift Ventures, where his contributions included corporate governance, strategic planning, capitalization and management development in over a dozen companies as an investor and director. Ransom’s leadership positions with healthcare information technology companies include The Compucare Company, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer, Shared Medical Systems Corporation, and Technicon Data Systems. During this phase of his career he focused on developing and implementing growth strategies, corporate sales, account management, business development, product planning, financial management and synergistic acquisitions. Ransom received a MHA in Healthcare Management from The George Washington University and a BS degree in Biological Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

    Michael Shea became Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Hooper Holmes on May 8, 2006.  From 2003 until May 2006, Mike was the Chief Financial Officer of Computer Horizons Corporation, a provider of information technology services based in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey.  From 1995 to 2003 he served as Vice President and Controller for Computer Horizons.  Before that, Mike held senior management positions at Booz Allen for seven years. He began his career at Ernst and Young in New York City. Mike is a CPA and received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Accounting from St. Bonaventure University.

    Mark Rosenblum was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Hooper Holmes on January 26, 2009.  Prior to joining the Company, Mark served as Vice President - Law at AT&T where he led groups responsible for federal regulatory and competition issues, including securing approvals of mergers and acquisitions.  Mark has over 23 years of corporate legal experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, including intellectual property, securities, contract, consumer and other class actions, as well as labor, employment, health and environmental laws.  Before joining AT&T in 1984 Mark was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City.  He received his Bachelors degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland and his JD from the University of Michigan Law School.  Mark is a member of the New York State and Washington, D.C. Bars.

    Burt Wolder became Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Hooper Holmes on July 5, 2006. Before joining Hooper Holmes, Burt was Vice President, Corporate Marketing at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. He also served as head of communications for the Human Resources and Investor Solutions division of Mellon Financial Corporation. Prior to Mellon he held positions in public relations, brand development and international business at AT&T, where he led executive communications, promoted the company’s technology leadership, directed international media relations and crisis communications, launched the AT&T brand in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and directed advertising and PR for the company’s equipment manufacturing divisions. He holds two design patents for communications devices and is a past president of the Public Relations Society of America’s New York Chapter. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University.

    Susheel Jain was appointed Senior Vice President, Health Care on October 10, 2011. He is responsible for sales, business development, product strategy and account management of the Company’s Health & Wellness service lines, including biometric screenings, Hooper Holmes OnSite health coaching, engagement counseling, claims processing, results-based incentives, and more. Prior to joining Hooper Holmes Susheel was Vice President, New Solutions Design for WellPoint, Inc., one of the largest health benefits companies in the United States. At WellPoint he was responsible for developing new care management services including integrated wellness and incentive solutions. He also led strategy and development for WellPoint’s clinical information exchange platform and chaired the company’s Product Development and Innovation Council. Prior to WellPoint, Susheel served as Vice President, Corporate and Product Strategy for Resolution Health, a data analytics-driven personal health care guidance company acquired by WellPoint in 2008. Susheel’s previous positions include Senior Vice President, Federal Healthcare for ACS Government Solutions, where he was responsible for a $50 million sales pipeline and for developing product innovations that translated into substantial new sales. He also served as Director of Government Programs and Corporate Operations at CorSolutions Medical, Inc. Prior to CorSolutions he served as Vice President and Principal at Security Health Providers, Inc. He began his health care career as Senior Consultant, Managed Care at First Health / Alta Health Strategies. He received his B.S. in Premed and Anthropology from Pennsylvania State University and his M.A. in Medical Anthropology from Case Western Reserve University.

    Dan L. Dodson was appointed Senior Vice President, Life Insurance on January 17 2012.  He has overall responsibility for corporate and field sales and account management teams serving life insurance customers. Dan is also responsible for life insurance account development and customer channel strategies, including evaluating new markets, partnerships, new business initiatives and distribution opportunities to drive growth. Dan joined Hooper Holmes as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development on January 3, 2011.  Prior to joining Hooper Holmes, Dan served as Global Healthcare Strategy Lead for Dell Services.  At Dell, Dan was responsible for strategy and business planning for all of the company’s healthcare services business units.  He helped develop go-to-market strategies for Dell’s Health Information Exchange, informatics, community physician and Electronic Medical Record services.  He also led the development of the company’s Asia-Pacific strategy including joint venture business planning and Dell’s Brazil and China market entry plans. Dan joined Dell Services when Dell acquired Perot Systems, where he held the same position. Dan’s previous positions include an Information Systems Fellowship at Covenant Health System, Director of Accounting and Business Development at Ming Investment, and Assistant Corporate Controller at The Parker Group.  Dan graduated from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, and a Masters of Business Administration in Health Organization Management.

    Tom Collins is the Senior Vice President of Portamedic Operations.  Tom’s team of more than 5,000 employees and contract examiners delivers paramedical exam services to life insurance customers nationwide.  Tom joined Hooper Holmes on March 25, 2010 as Vice President, Supply Chain, responsible for directing manufacturing, inventory and distribution operations.  Prior to joining Hooper Holmes, Tom was a Principal and Owner of Preferred Finance Partners (PFP), a Kansas City-based financial advisory services firm that provides management and operations support to domestic and international clients with revenues up to $800 million.  Tom began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) providing consulting services for Fortune 1000 companies.  After PwC, Tom served as one of the country’s youngest Managers at Grant Thornton LLP, specializing in management consulting, corporate finance and risk management.  Tom was also a finance executive at a publicly traded company where he oversaw financial reporting for strategic business units with approximately $230 million in annual revenue. Tom earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and held Certified Public Accounting licenses in the States of Kansas and Illinois.  Tom was a founding member and serves on the Board of Directors of the Supporting Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Kansas City offering financial assistance to families with children battling cancer and cancer related diseases. 

    Joel Koch is Hooper Holmes’ Chief Information Officer. Since 2005, Joel has been our Company’s Vice President, IT Infrastructure, as well as Chief Information Security Officer. Prior to joining Hooper Holmes, Joel was National Director of Infrastructure & Technical Services for Dyntek, Inc., where he led 140 technical consultants serving commercial customers, as well as state and local governments. His work with Dyntek first brought him to Hooper Holmes when, as an independent consultant, he built the Company’s business continuity, disaster recovery and operations center in Allentown, PA. Before Dyntek, Joel spent 23 years with Memorex Telex Corporation, a manufacturer and reseller of enterprise communications, disk storage hardware, and software products. 

    David Winsemius MD, MPH, DBIM joined Hooper Holmes’ Heritage Labs division as Vice President, Medical Director in May 2008. Dr. Winsemius has deep experience as medical director for both direct and reinsurance companies, most recently serving as Vice President and Medical Director for ING, concentrating on brokerage underwriting and mortality analysis. Dr Winsemius received his MD from the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine and his Masters of Public Health from the University of Washington. He holds a number of professional certifications, including Board Certification in Insurance Medicine, Board Certification in Family Practice, and the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics. He currently serves as the Chair of the Mortality and Morbidity Committee for the American Association for Insurance Medicine, and is the Chair of the Morbidity-Mortality Liaison Committee, a joint research project of SOA, AAIM and AHOU. His special interest is in applying modern bio-statistical methods to practical insurance problems. 

    Richard  D’Alesandro was appointed Senior Vice President of the Administrative Services Group in March 2005. He has overall responsibility for the company’s Human Resources, Payroll and Administrative Services functions and has a deep expertise in personnel management, employee relations, employment law, recruitment, employee benefits, mergers and acquisitions and risk management. Prior to joining Hooper Holmes, Richard was Personnel/Payroll Manager for Monument Tools Ltd. in London, England before he immigrated to the United States in 1990. A History graduate from John Ruskin College in London, Richard was also awarded the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. He is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
