Roy H. Bubbs was appointed President and CEO of Hooper Holmes on February 6, 2008. He has been a member of the Company’s Board of Directors since May 30, 2007. For the past several years he has been self-employed, developing strategic business and operational plans for new ventures for insurance companies as well as private investors. Roy has been in the financial services industry for 34 years. As President of Mony Partners he created the brokerage division for the Mony Group, leading strategy, infrastructure, operations and business plan implementation. His experience in expanding distribution channels, instituting new technology platforms and developing new product portfolios enabled Mony to generate significant growth. Prior to joining Mony, Roy was Senior Vice President for Manulife, US, where his responsibilities included developing and implementing a multiple distribution channel strategy to reinvigorate insurance sales and eliminate distribution expense losses. For the first 24 years of his career Roy was with Cigna, where he served as an agent, agency manager and senior executive. As Senior Vice President, he was responsible for half of Cigna’s career agency sales force. He also ran the distribution and field service unit for Cigna’s Pension Division and built the Annuity Division. Roy received his B.S. degree from Eastern Michigan University and his M.B.A. from Loyola College. He holds CLU and ChFC professional certifications and has pursued advanced studies at Wharton and the Kellogg School of Business.
Michael
Shea became Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Hooper Holmes on May 8, 2006. From 2003 until May 2006, Mike was the Chief
Financial Officer of Computer Horizons Corporation, a provider of information
technology services based in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. From 1995 to 2003 he served as Vice President and Controller for Computer Horizons. Before that, Mike held senior management positions at Booz Allen for seven years. He began his career at Ernst and Young in New York City. Mike is
a CPA and received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Accounting from St. Bonaventure University.
Mark Rosenblum was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Hooper Holmes on January 26, 2009. Prior to joining the Company Mark served as Vice President - Law at AT&T where he led groups responsible for federal regulatory and competition issues, including securing approvals of mergers and acquisitions. Mark has over 23 years of corporate legal experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, including intellectual property, securities, contract, consumer and other class actions, as well as labor, employment, health and environmental laws. Before joining AT&T in 1984 Mark was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City. He received his Bachelors degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland and his JD from the University of Michigan Law School. Mark is a member of the New York State and Washington, D.C. Bars.
Burt
Wolder became Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Hooper
Holmes on July 5, 2006. He also supports the company’s Information
Technology and Services organization. Before joining Hooper Holmes, Burt
was Vice President, Corporate Marketing at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc.
He also served as Head of Communications for the Human Resources and Investor
Solutions division of Mellon Financial Corporation. Prior to Mellon, he
held executive positions in marketing, brand development and international
business at AT&T for 24 years. He holds two design patents for communications devices and is a past president of the Public Relations Society
of America’s New York Chapter. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from
New York
University.
Richard Whitbeck became Senior Vice President of Hooper Holmes and President of the Company's Portamedic division on September 15, 2008. Richard has held senior executive positions in the insurance industry for more than 25 years. Before joining Portamedic, Richard was President of CJA & Associates, a national actuarial consulting and marketing firm that specializes in Health and Welfare Benefit Plans encompassing distribution, third party administration, reinsurance, and software. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager, at AXA Equitable, Vice President of Marketing for MONY, Second Vice President, Sales Support, at John Hancock, and Director, Field Development and Automation at Aetna Life Insurance & Annuity Company. Earlier on in his career he held positions as Assistant Vice President of Field Services and Marketing Services at Security Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, as well as a Commercial Programmer at FDP Corporation. Richard holds a Bachelors of Science from State University of New York at Binghamton and is also a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Fellow of the Life Office Management Association, and Registered Health Underwriter.
Mark
Patterson was named President of Heritage Labs in September, 2006. Mark was one
of the original co-founders of Heritage Labs in 1997 and previously served as its Senior Vice President of
Sales. Prior to founding Heritage Labs, Mark served as Executive Vice President
of Business Development with LabOne. In his 14 years with LabOne he also served as Executive Vice
President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Sales as well as serving
on the Board of Directors of LabOne’s Canadian subsidiary. Before
joining LabOne, Mark was with Physical Measurements Inc, a paramedical
subsidiary company of Equifax, Inc. in Atlanta, GA. Mark has a degree in
Biology from Furman University.
